His 32.68% in Berkshire was at a high of $70.61 billion in February 2008. The figure now is $57.2 billion, a plunging neckline fall of around $13 billion! While unused, uninvested and therefore useless billion dollar cash reserves by themselves are a huge issue of concern, the falling levels of such reserves also point down under. And in that context, Berkshire itself seems to be bleeding cash. It has seen one of the biggest annual reductions in cash reserves in the past year. Its cash reserves plummeted to $33.37 billion on September 30, 2008, down from a huge $44.33 billion at the end of 2007.
